In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will decorate a pre-made wooden trivet using paint, color, and simple design techniques. This class is a relaxing and creative way to personalize a functional piece for your kitchen or dining space. Each participant will leave with a finished wooden trivet that can be used at home or given as a thoughtful handmade gift.

Hi I'm Lori,
My name is Lori Mobley and I have enjoyed being creative my whole life. My parents owned Rhines Florist and as a child many hours were spent using their resources to entertain myself and create. Those chances to explore creativity helped me to make decisions, not be afraid to try new things and so importantly realize it was ok to try and fail.
I have worked with children most of my life and I have seen attitudes and behaviors change and children blossom and thrive by allowing them to explore and be creative. I have seen walls break down and stress relieved in teenagers and adults as they give into the creative process.
I want to invite you into a creative experience. Not everyone is an artist but everyone can benefit from and enjoy a creative experience. Whether you are 3, 33 or 103 we can offer an experience for you.
